This evening, I had dinner with other conference attendees. We couldn’t resist talking about the Iowa caucuses. Although we clearly were from different places on the political spectrum, it was an informative, constructive and intelligent discussion. This was testament to the benefit of HCCA gatherings. People of different persuasions come together because of our common interest in health care and compliance and engage on common ground. This is valuable.
My conference day began with Kim Brandt’s presentation on the Senate and the political environment, and ended with watching election coverage after hearing many interesting ideas from other conference attendees. During my normal work day back in SF there just isn’t the time or space for such enrichment. Thank you HCCA.
