Congratulations HCCA on an extremely successful 20th anniversary Compliance Institute. No other compliance conference provides attendees with the opportunity to learn insights from government internal investigators from DOJ, OIG, HHS.
The General session speakers kept the audience engaged and shared some jaw-dropping data with us. It is startling how many providers just don’t grasp the fact that compliance & ethics should be an integral part of his or her practice.
My favorite part of CI is networking with compliance professionals, such as myself. I was finally able to meet Cindy Hart, one of CI speakers after meeting her a year ago on LinkedIn. We’d spoken on the phone several times; however CI allowed us to sit together during the networking luncheon, take pictures and build on a friendship.
I was tempted to wear the “Roy’s Favorite” ribbon but I didn’t want Frank Ruelas to get upset…lol.
Thanks again CI! I’m off to Cleveland, Ohio.
