Location, location, location! Love the change of scenery and the hotel is fabulous. The hotel staff have been wonderful, courteous, and very helpful. Today’s lunch was delicious, thank you DLA Piper.

The opening session today titled Research Compliance: 2015/2016 Year in Review is always my favorite part of this conference. I think Lisa does an exceptional job of giving us a nice multi-agency review of what is going on in research. I look forward to this session every year. For me, it is a great checklist to look over what I have been doing on my own work plan and possibly things that I may need to add. I always walk away with notes of things to do or things to check on when I get back to my office. I appreciate the level of detail provided in the slides so that we not only walk away with information, but are able to continue to investigate issues further when we return home. Given that most of us don’t have the resources to do the work that she does with her team to compile this information, I find it a very valuable resource. It is nice to get such a thorough review from an expert in the field. She mentioned this morning that she wanted feedback—I think it is an awesome session and hope that you continue to do it.
