I feel that am very luck to have found the HCCA in the early 2000’s when attended a couple of regional sessions in the Northeast. I decided to pursue certification as another dimension to my background and experience. I was able to attend the Compliance Academy in Orlando in November, 2005, and was fortunate enough to pass the exam. More than that accomplishment, I made friends for life. That number of friends has continued to grow every year, as a core group of us continue have met at the CI almost every since 2006. Another reason for being thankful for joining HCCA and making good friends, is that the CI and other programs have been a terrific resource when ever needed.
