I am brand new to everything here. I’m brand new to the conference, brand new to the organization and brand new to the profession. I’ve been the Director of Revenue Cycle at my small hospital for four years. A month ago we restructured and I was asked to become Chief Compliance Officer. As an MHIIM, this is in my scope, but it is still a big change. Being at the Compliance Institute has been wonderful for me. I have learned more than I ever expected. I have also made a lot of really great contacts. Debbie Troklus even said I could email her with questions! As I understand it, she is a bit of a Super Hero. I am so glad o came to HCCAci. I can feel that a little bit of my brand new is starting to flake away.
