Wow, I have attended numerous HCCA Institutes and conferences and always have such a difficult time deciding what break out sessions to attend. They are all so informative and provide me with great compliance resources to share with my organization.
My favorite part of the Institute is the General Sessions where we hear from OIG, DOJ and other authorities. Of course, this is the stuff that keeps me up at night!
I look forward to the Annual Institute, but also our regional conferences in both San Francisco and Santa Ana. The opportunity to network with subject matter experts in so many areas of healthcare compliance is such a privilege and I encourage “newbies” in the compliance world to take advantage of the resources that HCCA offers such as the academies and the published materials.
So far, I think 2016 session is proving to be well worth the investment of time and money and will definitely increase my knowledge of up and coming changes in the compliance world.
