I want to thank the fantastic staff of HCCA for a wonderful conference. The presenters have been very well informed. The Prescription for Change presentation identified several areas of change that are being pursued by congress. I am looking forward to the handout and the reading list it will generate.

The sessions have shown other sides of the usual compliance issues. The Beyond HIPAA Compliance looked at personal information collection from the view of the consumer. It identified ways to increase consumer satisfaction and confidence in the security of their information. Addressing consumer confidence by making more transparent, if not user friendly, documents will increase consumer and staff knowledge of the security involved in the protection of their information.

I appreciate the incredible knowledge base of the presenters at this conference. Thank you for the opportunity to discuss compliance issues with the presenters.
