Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week (CCEW) wrapped up on Saturday and we’re thrilled to see all of the fantastic celebrations and wonderful ideas to increase engagement and awareness of the compliance department and celebrate a compliant and ethical culture.

Be sure to check out our Facebook (SCCE and HCCA), Twitter (SCCE and HCCA), Pinterest (SCCE and HCCA), and blog posts and comments (here, here, here, and here) to see how your colleagues celebrated the week across the United States and the world.

To wrap up the week, Susan Zohreh, Director of Compliance at HotChalk shared this fantastic presentation showcasing how her organization celebrated in multiple offices around the country. They also have Freddy the FERPA frog, which is their CARE (Compliance Audit Risk Ethics) team mascot, to help provide a compliance and ethics visual for the employees. Freddy is pictured below, and you’ll see that he’s present throughout the CCEW activities in the presentation.

Thank you, Susan and HotChalk for sharing your celebration!

Chelsea Anderson, Sr. Marketing Communication Specialist at myMatrixx, also shared their CCEW celebration. This celebration included games, selfies, reviewing company guidelines and plenty of fun photos. Here is an excerpt from their wrap up communication that Chelsea shared with us (written up by Katrin Shapovalova, Accreditation Manager at myMatrixx):

“These past few days, whether you had “No Selfie Control”, found a “Golden Ticket”, spent 30 minutes with SHREDDER , had yourself some Quizdom time,  or maybe even did a “Risky Business” with us, we wanted to THANK EVERYONE for giving us an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the importance of compliance and ethics at myMatrixx. It was our first time and definitely not the last one. We’ve learned a lot and hope you did too!”

“It was a FUN week and a VERY close race (see the answer keys attached)! In addition to our “spot prize” winners and “brownie points” takers, we had our TOP 5 scorers: Ashley Inocencio, Morgan Siegert, Marilyn Parrado and Amy Jones. Please take a moment to congratulate them!”
