I am in love with the compliance professionals whom I have encountered during this conference.
On Sunday, I volunteered to introduce the speakers at one of the sessions. On my way down from the podium, I tripped on the last stair–falling and bruising my ribs, and both knees.
This has allowed me to meet some really great people who either saw the accident or who responded to the accident (great care provided by the ARIA Security staff), or who have encountered me in the past day. Their concern and care has really touched my heart.
I am sure that others in other professions would also have responded kindly… but the men and women here have gone above and beyond in my opinion. Kristine Koontz and Amy Short have offered to give me a private run through of the session I missed. I appreciate their care.
Thank you to each of you who helped me either yesterday or today! 🙂
