This is my first Compliance Institute; I am so glad I traveled from Barrow, Alaska to attend! The institute is fun, and very informative. I love the presentations and the fact that the presenters are so approachable. The ‘education’ feels as though you are talking to a colleague. Food has been great. HCCA does a wonderful job with the logistics – there are a lot of us to move through the event and everything flows very well. Lots of Alaskan entities are here. And there is a strong Behavioral Health presence! Vendors are generous. Prizes are amazing. Not to mention the temperature difference is rather drastic. It is currently 81* in Las Vegas and 7* in Barrow with a winds at 18 mph, making the temperature feel like -13*! My toes are completely thawed out and I have collected some Vitamin D. HCCA’s Compliance Institute is beneficial on many ways!
