Isn’t that the truth! Hotlines are sorely needed but not always the call you want.
But if you don’t get a call, how do you know if the hotline is actually effective ?

My first compliance job in 2007 included a “hotline” phone that was simply an extra phone on my desk that we jokingly referred to as the Bat Phone. The first time it actually rang, I started sweating and was so nervous to answer it. As it turns out, it was a colleague/friend of mine who really wanted to know if it worked. Who knew that my compliance career would eventually focus on hotlines/speakup culture/investigations.
Regardless, the artwork is fantastic!! I love it!!
